This modern medical breakthrough is over 3500 years old. Billions of people worldwide have been using acupuncture to treat health conditions. In fact more people have used Acupuncture than all other forms of medical treatment combined. How does acupuncture work? Acupuncture sends crucial messages through the body to the brain that immediately influence overall function through the neural systems of the body.

Studies have demonstrated that when Acupuncture needles are inserted in points of the hand, MRI scans showed a decrease in blood flow to certain areas of the brain. At the same time participants described a sensation of a slight dull ache, heaviness, or electrical sensations, which is a sign that the treatment is having affect.

In the same studies conducted by researchers at Harvard Medical School, when patients reported pain, the MRI revealed an increase in blood flow to the same areas of the brain relating to the area of pain they were experiencing. One effect of Acupuncture is quieting down key regions of the brain. Reducing blood flow to specific areas of the brain that are associated with pain, or moods, feelings and cravings may explain acupuncture’s effectiveness when treating depression, addictions, eating disorders and pain. A reduction in blood flow can change levels of chemicals released by the brain such as dopamine and serotonin. Acupuncture has been well documented to trigger the release of endorphins, the brain’s natural pain reliever.

We are all made up of energy, trillions of the molecules of light vibrating. Every organ every tissue every cell in every molecule within our bodies that are alive, have this vital energy. You can think of this as our life force. Eastern philosophy calls this Chi, or Qi or Ki. It means vital life force. Acupuncture by tapping into specific sites mapped out throughout the body, face, scalp and within the ear can modulate or “tune” these frequencies of vibrating energy. By opening blockages, removing obstructions and restoring the flow of this vital energy acupuncture is highly effective in treating many health conditions. A partial list would include treatment of various types of pain; headache, tmj, neck, low back or extremities. Other medical conditions include: arthritis, fibromyalgia, allergies, asthma, chronic obstructed pulmonary disease, colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, hormone irregularities; menstrual issues, menopause, (hot flashes-night sweats), fertility problems, weight loss, obesity, diabetes, depression, anxiety, insomnia and sleep issues. The National Institute of Health lists over 250 conditions that are known to respond to Acupuncture.

It has been demonstrated as an effective form of anesthesia during surgery.

Documentaries have been filmed viewing acupuncture being used by anesthesiologists during surgical procedures. With acupuncture as the only form of anesthesia during complicated medical procedures such as open heart surgery the patient can be completely awake and communicating without pain during the course of the procedure. This is an unbelievable benefit to the patient and the doctors as well, since the use of anesthesia contributes further risk to an already high-risk procedure.

Acupuncture is licensed in the majority of states. Typically practitioners are within their state regulations to diagnose and treat health conditions with the principles of Eastern medicine. Acupuncture is so effective that even in chronic cases of medical conditions it is frequently the only procedure that helps the patient. This is not to say that Acupuncture is the answer to all medical problems, however, because of it’s long history and track record of obtaining results, it should be the treatment of choice early on.

Generally it requires a few treatments conducted within a short period, five -eight days, to determine if a person will respond to Acupuncture care.

Once it is clear that Acupuncture is the appropriate strategy, a treatment plan can be determined to address issues and produce long term results.

Are we really okay with the drugging of our families and ourselves? Just because it’s called Aleve doesn’t mean that it’s safe. A close friend of mine was found vomiting blood in a restaurant bathroom as a result of taking Aleve (Naproxen Sodium), to relieve pain. These so-called safe over-the-counter pain relievers can have serious consequences on our overall health. Let me give you some examples.

A researcher at the University of Texas Southwestern medical center determined that 56,700 emergency room visits result from acetaminophen overdose in the United States each year. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and other painkillers, Advil, Motrin, Aspirin and Naproxen Sodium can have serious side effects. According to the Annals of Internal Medicine, acetaminophen overdose is the leading cause of acute renal failure in the United States.

Headaches, neck pain, back pain, abdominal pain, are signs that there are underlying causes that need to be addressed and rectified. When this is done the symptoms will disappear forever. Medications of every type can have dangerous side effects. One study I found published in Neurology, showed that near daily use of analgesics is associated with chronic headaches and other chronic pain conditions. Researchers designed the study to determine how many chronic headaches are actually caused by the over use of over-the-counter and prescription drugs. 65,000 participants were included in the study. People who reported more than 15 headaches per month were considered chronic headache sufferers. Researchers further divided the group into migraine sufferers and nine migraine sufferers based on set criteria. Participants were asked about medications they were taking. If participants reported using analgesics almost daily for one month or more within the previous 12 months, it was considered an overuse. Researchers also inquired about the presence of neck pain, low back pain and other musculoskeletal symptoms. Those who reported back or back pain for at least 3 of the previous 12 months or for at least 15 days in the past month were classified as chronic pain sufferers.

Researchers discovered that frequent analgesic used for a prolonged period have a dramatic effect on chronic headaches and chronic pain.

Acupuncture - Ancient Methods Modern Breakthrough

A study completed by Harvard medical school found that two thirds of the participants treated by Acupuncture reported in improvement in their symptoms. Results of the study showed that these patients tolerated the treatment well, with the majority of them describing the Acupuncture treatment as, “pleasant”. Over 75% felt the treatment helped relieve the symptoms.

Acupuncture has long established itself as being highly effective in pain treatments. Billions of people worldwide use Acupuncture. More people use Acupuncture than all other forms of medicine combined. The worst thing that can happen with Acupuncture is that it may not be the answer to your health problem. There are no known deaths or side affects attributed to Acupuncture. On the other hand, hundreds of thousands of deaths are attributed to surgical procedures and the side affects of properly prescribed medications.

Acupuncture Treatments For Children

A division of the National Institutes of Health used Acupuncture on children who suffered from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and found that over half the children experienced an improvement in symptoms. They concluded, “Acupuncture was a useful alternative to standard medication for children with this condition”. (Quoted from the National Institutes of Health website).

As reported on the website, a one year study of Acupuncture treatment of over 243 children shows that the children receive substantial benefits to Acupuncture. At the beginning of treatment, most children reported pain in the low back, hips, extremities, abdomen or head. At the beginning of treatment, their mean visual analog scorer was 8.3 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the worst. The end of the six-week treatment reduced pain scores reduced to an average of 3.3, a drop of five points. Researchers also noted that in addition to reduce pain levels, children reported overall improvement of well-being, increased attendance at school, increased at attention spans at school and improved sleep patterns. Children also stated they were more able to take part in extracurricular activities. No side effects or complications were reported. Some children had a fear of needles in the initial stages of treatment; however, most fears were overcome with communication and positive reinforcement along with Acupuncture’s ability to successfully treat pain quickly.

Stress is a significant drain on the immune system. There are many forms of stress. Emotional stress can be caused by the thoughts and feelings that we accumulate throughout our lives; worry, fear, anger, anxiety. Low self esteem or a glass half full view of life will contribute to creating an inner turmoil, which makes healthy digestion impossible.

Our relationships can produce stressful results to our systems. Another source of stress is poor diet and lack of nutrition. Energy and blood circulation becomes constrained and can cause obstructions throughout the gastrointestinal system. In order to function normally again, these constraints must be removed. Acupuncture opens the blockages and restores optimal energy and blood flow.

Herbal therapies will boost immune and thus overall body function. Coaching of stress reducing strategies and proactive choices in food and dietary practices are essential elements in restoring health. What are you willing to do to make any contributions to your health?

Try to get clear in your own mind what is really of importance to you.

Can you create intention around making a commitment to your health?

How will you contribute?

At the Kindo Health Center, we have the experience to help. Our programs are based on over 20 years of experience.

America is the best country in the world. With the end of World War II we entered the 1950s, with it came many new ideas. One of which is what we now know as the supermarket. On those shelves in the supermarket were the products that were produced from the finest companies in America. Our mothers bought them knowing that they were the best, and since they were the best, they were the best suited for our American families.

I was raised on a typical American diet, which consisted of Wonder Bread, which built bodies 12 ways, Oscar Mayer products, baloney, salami, with Hostess Twinkies. Every day after school, I would stop at McDonald’s and have a cheeseburger fries and a coke. At that time, no one knew it was bad for you. This was the early 60s, and I was living in the American dream. By the time I was eight I was overweight and was plagued with many allergies, breathing problems and health conditions. My pediatrician was Dr. Zabattski. I’ll never forget my visits to doctor Zabattzis’ office. Next to each and every waiting room chair was a beautiful floor standing ashtray. The long base was made of ornate iron. On the top was a fairly large glass bowl and everyone in the waiting room was smoking. When my mother and I went into the doctors office, he was wearing his white lab coat, had a stethoscope around his neck, a cigarette in his mouth and he and my mother both were smoking, while they discussed my breathing problems, allergies and my other health problems, I had weight problems too. I was so overweight in my youth that you could have called me “Jabba”. Most baby boomers are of the age where they can remember their doctors smoking and offices full of ashtrays. Billboards on the highways and full-page print ads displayed doctors smoking cigarettes, “Doctors prefer L&Ms or “Luckys”(what a name for a cigarette). Remember the Rolling Stones song, “Satisfaction”? A line in the song goes like this; “He can’t be a man cause he doesn’t smoke the same cigarettes as me”.

As a child I remember studying in school about how we have billions of bodily activities occurring daily. How do we support these billions of activities? Many of us grew up eating the typical American diet. I certainly did. This may be one reason our country is in the health state it is in. The staple of our culture is snacks with names like Kix and Life, Wheaties, the breakfast of champions, cereals with purpose and meaning.

Between the foods we consume, and our fear, anger, and anxiety, it’s no wonder we have chronic diseases in this country running amuck. Otherwise, tell me how the most advanced country in the world has the most cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity, and even constipation. We could buy stock in Ex-Lax and become wealthy. It’s time to get our heads out of our rear and get real. You don’t have to have a degree in nutrition to figure it out or to know the difference between a carrot and a Cheerio. One is made by man for profit, and the other was created by the universe or God for human consumption and nutrition.

The health of our culture is eroding. Our personal health, family relationships and the relationships with our selves has eroded. How long must we cling to the paradigm of man is like a machine? In the healthcare industry, this paradigm has raised the doctor’s power were and he is responsible for our health. If you eat Wonder Bread and or snacks and foods that are produced for profit, as most of your diet or all of your diet, sooner or later, something will break down. Isn’t that the belief behind buying health insurance? You know, you’ll need it, it’s just a question of when. Sooner or later, you will be using this health policy. That’s why you continue to pay on it month after month, year after year, for many years.

What can you for your health that you are currently not doing?

What are you willing to commit to doing?

How will you contribute to your health and longevity?

Common sense not in common practice. It is not common to feel Mindfull In Spirit. To begin, it requires a shift of perspective. Intending to be Mindfull In Spirit is about personal choice. Whatever occurrences we draw to us, whatever hand that is dealt, it is an opportunity and a gift, for it is through these experiences that the human spirit is acknowledged and evolves. Have you ever taken a trip, perhaps out of your culture and into another? Did you spend enough time there to begin to feel differently than you have normally have felt in your customary environment? What did you feel that was different? Most of us have in one way or another experienced this phenomenon. People who have had an unusual trauma or severe illness, near death or death experience such as drowning or airplane crash survivor, these acts are an opportunity to feel connected with life and death. This gives us a new perspective. It is not necessary to have experienced tragedy to know this feeling. If you awaken to each day grateful for the opportunity to live, you will live it to the fullest. What is it to celebrate life? How can we master it before our opportunity is over?

Joy, happiness, serenity, fulfillment, compassion, health, these are the qualities of high value within our human experience. The purpose of this work is to share insights and actions, stories and experiences that may inspire others to act out their lives attuned to a higher frequency. To add years to your life and enjoyment to the years you have. to slow your rate of aging and to change our paradigm of health. Traditionally, modern health care is about treatment of disease with drugs and surgeries. After 25 years and more than 80,000 patient visits, I have learned that health is more than merely to fix, repair and replace. Health has to do with what we put into our mouths, minds and hearts. Health principles are the same principles as in farming: plant, nourish, cultivate and harvest health. This is a natural law just like gravity.

I am sharing ancient secrets for modern times. I have acquired knowledge of these ancient methods through some most unusual circumstances. Some were from studying and practicing ancient rituals under the mentoring of great religious and philosophical masters. Others were from all the other gifted individuals I have had the blessing to cross paths with and learn from in this lifetime. Most came out of hard lessons from personal experience either way, it was up to me to respond. I needed to begin to think and act differently. I needed to plant, nourish, cultivate and support new beliefs and behaviors. Any personal stories I share with you accentuate these changes of heart and the subsequent changes of thinking and action. Understanding how our bodies and minds function requires more than the written word. Learning new practices is imperative to operate on a higher frequency. I call them ritual practices, because through practice, these rituals will become habits and these habits will change our lives. I suggest that when beginning to practice these rituals you refrain from self-doubt or judgments. Leave those thoughts out of the equation and certainly out of ritual practice.

Neuroscience has a subspecialty involving the study of neuroplasticity. There are scientists all over the world studying neuroplasticity. In short, this is the study of changing the way the brain functions through mindfulness. Mindfulness is a word that encompasses our thoughts, beliefs and feelings. Our perceptions, assumptions and conclusions about our lives and ourselves affect our health and ultimately the health of everyone within our sphere of influence including not only our family and friends, but the entire community. Being Mindfull In Spirit will enhance your health and increase your chances of living a longer, radiantly enjoyable life.

Mindfulness is achieved through planting thoughts and cultivating them into beliefs through intentional thinking. The result is changing the brain through retraining the mind.

It is said that women are more sensitive then men. This certainly is true when it comes to cases of infertility. In truth the mere word infertility labels a women with a negative connotation. Most of the time it is unexplainable within the Western medical model as to the reason that a women is having difficulty with conception and pregnancy. Asian medicine looks at this in quite a different way. Through the Eastern medical model we investigate the underlying causes that lie embedded within her internal environment. Once these causes are identified, then they can be addressed and rectified. Acupuncture has been well documented in its effectiveness to help women get pregnant and carry it full term. Rather than identifying infertility simply as a problem with an ovary or a specific hormone problem, TCM dictates that fertility is a natural state, considering the internal environment as a whole system of energetic patterns. From the onset of menstruation until menopause, women experiencing their optimal state of balance are fertile.

Infertility results when the network of hormones, organs, and energy systems are not functioning optimally. These imbalances obstruct normal function, (conceiving a child every time her ovaries release an egg). Restoring the environment is conducted holistically. There is not a separation of mind, body, emotions and spirit as in western medicine. Eastern medicine considers each of these elements to be equal in its assessment of the causes of infertility. Eastern medicines approach is to restore balance to the entire body/mind connective system.

We are all made up of energy. Within our bodies are billions of activities occurring daily, all meant to plant, nourish, cultivate and support healthy function.

Symptoms such as impotence, infertility, PMS, pelvic inflammatory disease, vaginitis, irregular periods, cramps, or morning sickness are all indicators that point to an out of balance internal environment.

Miscarriage, Stress and Conception

The body understands that one should not carry a pregnancy when under tremendous stress. Our inner wisdom dictates that prioritizing one’s own overall health takes precedence and carrying the burden of an additional life can be an overwhelming strain.

Hormonal response to stress is antagonistic to the required environment for fertility. Examples: under stress, adrenaline is released from the adrenal glands and inhibits the ability to utilize progesterone. In times of stress, the pituitary gland may begin to malfunction. Stress creates false information and creates a serious of assumptions and conclusions the body responds to. When we are under stress, the sympathetic nervous system is stimulated, accelerating heart rate and constricting blood vessels and micro-circulation. This is our “fight or flee from danger” warning system. As this hyperstimulated dynamic is occurring, less blood is delivered to the uterus and ovaries, thus impairing optimal function. One of the biggest stressors for women is the inability to conceive. There are other internal stressors, and external stressors that need to be addressed.

Acupuncture

In the journal Fertility and Sterility, published by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, reported a study in which researchers stimulated acupuncture points that were meant to relax the uterus and create better blood circulation and more energy circulation in the uterus. Points designed to promote a patient’s general row expedition, and overall well-being were also chosen. Ultrasound testing, six weeks after treatments were completed, revealed that almost twice as many women from the acupuncture group than from the untreated group became pregnant. Another study by Cornell University, published in December 2002 reported, the peripheral impact of acupuncture in improving uterine artery blood flow and hence endometrial thickness provides encouraging data regarding its potential positive effects on implantation. The study concluded, “ because acupuncture is non-toxic and relatively affordable, its indications in assisting reproduction deserves serious research and exploration”.

Traditional and modern acupuncture involves the insertion of thin hair like disposable wires into points on the surface of the skin. Acupuncture’s effects on the body can be explained by a number of theories.

Acupuncture meridians are paths of electrical energy running throughout the body. For electrical energy to flow smoothly, there would have to be amplifiers along the lines of current these are the sites where acupuncture occurs.

Another theory described in western methodology addresses for the neurological effects of acupuncture. Stimulation of acupuncture points affect the nervous system, releasing chemicals to either alleviate pain, or affect the body’s internal regulating system. Acupuncture stimulates specific nerve bundles that carry electrical impulses back to the brain, increasing higher endorfin concentrations. This produces a higher more intense feeling of relaxation and euphoria that most people feel after their acupuncture treatments. Acupuncture transmits messages to the hypothalamus, which controls all hormonal activity, including ovulation, menstruation, and pregnancy. When the hypothalamus receives messages triggered by acupuncture stimulation, neurotransmitters, i.e., dopamine, adrenaline, and serotonin it triggers action within the pituitary gland, (which controls the ovaries, adrenals, and thyroid gland), producing both follicle- stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) which are critical elements in a healthy cycle. Those explanations are derived from the western medical model.

Acupuncture can stimulate the bodies hormonal system into alignment, secreting the appropriate hormones at the right time in the right place during a woman’s cycle thus facilitating conception. Acupuncture and herbal therapy are both natural and effective in assisting in successful conception. According to traditional Chinese medical philosophy, this is achieved through the careful assessment and evaluation of the overall function within the body. This function takes into consideration the ebb and flow of vital energy, blood circulation, organ function and balancing the activities that occur in about a daily.

Western medicine is specific and reductionistic, in it’s compartmentalized, mechanical medical model. Little to no attention is focused on the overall cohesiveness of an individual’s health. Eastern medicine strength comes from its overview of balance, harmony and well-being within an individual. Its focus is always on increasing normal or optimal function. The first step is to assess and evaluate what’s happening within your system and how it relates to reproductive organs. Next is to determine what acupuncture and herbal protocol would be appropriate. This is known as a treatment plan. Treatment plants can range from three months (three cycles) to one year. In addition to acupuncture and herbal formulas treatment may include change of diet and therapeutic exercises or rituals to be to be incorporated into one’s daily life.

When I was 10 years old, the middle finger on my right hand began to stiffen up and become painful. My mother, immediately took me to see my doctor. After a brief examination, the doctor concluded that I certainly must have injured my finger while trying to catch a ball. Truth being told, I hadn’t played ball. So I knew that the doctor really didn’t know what he was talking about. Since he was a doctor, my mother went along with him. He put a splint on my finger and attached it with medical adhesive tape, and told me in a few days, it would be better. A week went by, and it still wasn’t better. Matter of fact, a finger on my opposite hand began to swell and was painful. The doctor had no clue. As days progressed, other fingers began to become stiff and painful. My wrists began to swell and become painful. My knees and my ankles began to swell and become stiff, rigid and painful. Within 10 days, my entire body was stiff and rigid and painful, back to the doctors office. The doctor ordered me into the hospital. I was admitted into Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for further tests, study and treatment.

I was put into a room and visited by numerous physicians, interns, and medical students. By now, I was completely paralyzed from head to toe. My body had ballooned and my joints had swelled to three times their size. My ankles looked like grapefruits. My sister came running in the room, and upon observing my swollen ankles, knees and elbows, she proclaimed that I had polio. He’s got polio, she screamed as she ran down the hall of the hospital. You can imagine how I felt laying there, unable to move entrapped by my swollen bulbous body.

During this period I was fed only clear broths. A nurse came into my room with a cup of chicken bullion, a cup of tea and a book. She began to spoon- feed me, alternating between the tea and the bullion, while she was engaged in reading her book. At this time in my life I was 5’ 2” and weighed approximately 160 pounds. My mother raised me on a routine diet consisted of wonder bread, cold cuts, Hostess Twinkies and soda. For the next 35 days, I lie in that hospital bed detoxifying, being examined by doctors, interns and students and being fed by a nurse with a book, mostly liquids. At the end of that time, the strangest thing occurred, I began to be able to move my joints, the swelling disappeared, and I began to regain normal function. I was so excited to be able to get up and begin to roam around feeling my hands and my feet. I felt remarkably lighter and had more energy. The biggest surprise was when they weighed me, for I was 30 pounds lighter. Basically this is a result of being on the liquid cleansing fast for 30 days.

Through this entire ordeal, the doctors had numerous diagnoses pertaining to my condition. Rheumatic fever, rheumatic heart, kidney problems, rheumatoid arthritis, and finally, the one they settled on, traveling arthritis. My learning points from this experience, which I will never forget are the following:

Doctors really don’t know what they’re talking about, much of the time.

What you put into your mouth as a strong effect on your overall health, I was raised on garbage and my body became a garbage collector.

Health is more than diagnosable disease.

And finally, I did not have polio.

Adult onset Diabetes is a horrific disease that we create and we can avoid by understanding how and why it is so prevalent. We manufacture the disease within ourselves with our diet. One out of three children will develop adult onset Diabetes by age 10. These children will not outlive their parents. Diabetes, affecting up to one-third of the population of industrialized countries, is fast becoming a catastrophe. Long-term complications of diabetes mellitus involve disorders of the eyes, kidneys, nerves, and blood vessels. Due to the widespread prevalence of diabetes and the severity of its complications, extensive research and development efforts are underway to find more effective remedies to improve the quality of life of those affected. Of course this means more drugs will come to market. What would be the motivation to cure this Disease?
To treat Diabetes is to buy into the theory that we should focus on the condition and not the individual. Why not? To focus on the person who has the condition is the opposite of treatment of disease. This would require a new set of guiding principles; nourish, cultivate and support.

Case Study
Sara age 45, came to me to lose weight. She stated that she had adult onset Diabetes diagnosed for 5 years. She was taking 2 medications to manage her Diabetes as well as medication for her acid-reflux, depression, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. I treated her with a course of treatments that included, acupuncture, Chinese herbs and a change to her diet. Within 3 months she lost over 40 pounds and stopped taking all medications. Her acid-reflux stopped occurring, her blood pressure and cholesterol fell within normal range and anti-depressants were no longer necessary. She is elated with her new health and her new body. She donated 3 large garbage bags full of clothing to charity. She has gone down 3 sizes and loves to shop and try on new outfits that she never could wear before. She used to express little to no emotion and now she is always smiling. She is cured from living a life with Diabetes and relying on dangerous medications to try and manage a condition that she was causing herself by the way she was eating.
Let’s stop the madness! When was the last time your doctor asked you exactly what you ate for breakfast? Did your health care provider ever tell you what to do and what not to do for breakfast, lunch or dinner? No! You know why? There’s no money in it. The way medicine is practiced; the focus is on where the money is at, drugs and surgeries. This is referred to as “treatment of disease”. There just is no money in prevention of disease or cultivating health.
How to avoid Diabetes? First off, eat like your great grandparents did. Eat foods that are produced by the earth for nourishment, not man for profit. Shop the perimeter of the grocery store, vegetables, fruits, meat, chicken and fish. Stay away from the middle of the store where most of the products manufactured by man lie. Stop buying dangerous ingredients! Purchase only products that are hormone free and free of antibiotics. Read the labels, it will tell you if the chicken or meat is free of these chemicals. Growth hormones have estrogen in them and will eventually cause Diabetes and Cancers as well. Do not eat products that use corn syrup or other corn derivatives. Do not choose products that have many ingredients listed that you cannot pronounce. There is a difference between a carrot and a Cheerio. Remember, Cheetos are not really food!
If you have Diabetes and would like to treat yourself using foods and herbal remedies I recommend you to get my diet plan. You will receive the information necessary to restore your health and cure your Diabetes. Certainly you would agree that if there were something you can do for your health that you are not currently doing you would want to know about it. Also, if there is something you are doing that is bad for you and promoting Diabetes and other diseases within your body, you would want to stop it immediately. I urge you to learn how to plant, nourish, cultivate and support your health. Make your health a priority.

Many people struggle with losing belly fat, to no avail in a lot of cases. Now a growing number of studies show that the use of aromatase inhibitors may be the most effective way to reduce abdominal obesity. For instance, in men, there is a clear association between obesity, decreased testosterone levels and increased aromatase activity (Medical Hypothesis. 2008; 70(2):358-60). In a study on 55 postmenopausal breast cancer women, they had significantly reduced fat mass after 12 months on an aromatase inhibitor; Similarly, the fat-free mass to fat mass ratio increased after the same amount of time (British Journal of Cancer. 2006; 95(2):153-8).

I carry a formula that is an aromatase inhibitor that has been proven time and again to effectivly reduce body fat.

Aromatase is an enzyme that converts testosterone into estradiol and androstenedione into estrone. Obesity, especially around the mid-section, is associated with decreased testosterone levels and increased estrogen levels. As fat accumulates, so does aromatase enzyme activity (this is because fat tissue expresses aromatase more than any other tissue), causing more testosterone to be converted into estradiol. An aromatase inhibitor like Myomin disrupts this cycle, reversing testosterone levels and reducing estradiol. As a result, abdominal fat will decrease.

Myomin, Slender All and Pro-Metabolic can also be taken for overall weight management.
In controlling weight, Slender All works in two ways: it burns fat faster, when taken before exercise and transforms fat by 51% when taken before meals. It speeds up the fat-burning process by removing excess adenosine diphosphate (ADP) in the metabolic pathway. When one exercises, adenosine triphosphate (ATP) or energy is converted to ADP. As ADP accumulates, the fat burning process is inhibited.
Pro-Metabolic is an herbal formula that helps with an underactive thyroid and increases tyrosine, which stimulates serotonin production. This induces a happy feeling, reducing food cravings and promoting faster fat burning.

This week I am going to show you one of the most powerful Acupressure/Acupuncture points of all time. This amazing point is used for reducing anxiety, tension and stress in any form. Would you agree that stress can cause health problems? Do you have any stress in your life? Are you taking any medications? Did you know that the side effects from prescription medications are the 3rd largest cause of death in the country! If you could handle the effects of your stress by using a simple acupressure point, wouldn’t you want to? The point is located in the auricle, (ear). Yes, in your ear there is a point - when stimulated, will alleviate stress and tension from your body and mind. First I’ll show you exactly where it is located. Then, I will demonstrate how to activate this point. After you watch the video you’ll be able to use this point with your fingers to get significant results!

The secret point: This location on the ear you can utilize 24 hours per day, 7 days per week! This point is typically used by acupuncturists and neurologists and can cost anywhere from $75.00 - $175 per treatment in a clinic. After watching the video, you will be able to order and use the same professional instruments that I use in my clinic with a FREE downloadable chart on how to use them!
In addition, there are special locations within the ear plus additional ‘Points of Influence’ throughout the body that treat many other health concerns, such as; food cravings and weight loss points, stop smoking points and much more!

My purpose is to help as many people as possible by sharing ancient and modern strategies to common health problems. Until now, most of these have been kept as guarded secrets- only trained professionals have this knowledge. In ancient times this information has been passed down to generations through only the spoken word. It is now trained in schools and colleges that specialize in Energetic Medicine or Oriental Medicine. Acupuncturists have been using this technique for thousands of years. I believe this knowledge should be available to everyone. Help yourself, your family, loved ones and friends with these effective methods.
Plant, nourish and cultivate vitality,
